STILT QUIZ

My latest evaluation of the Air-Trekker put's it as the benchmark in its price range.

What I liked most is the customized calf cuffs combined with their higher end bindings that were above and beyond what I expected for its price range. It does have an aluminum lithium frame which makes it better for those that tend to strain their frames and not gentle.
The only downside is that lithium cannot be charged like aluminum to allow higher jumps 70 to 90. It does have a secure feeling so you don't move side to side as the Velcro straps are pretty tight and much wider for larger people. Its spring is slightly smaller than others but it was just as responsive. They must have some formula that adds a different type of flex without being so rigid. There seems to be a certain mixture of chemicals that makes a spring flexible but not allowing heavy G forces to bottom out the spring. Their springs are made of carbon fiber unlike other brands who have fiberglass springs. People who are serious about this sport later down the road usually have a preference and prefer one or the other but at first, until you experience the beginning wear all the way to the end of the spring life, you will not know. There are difference you will experience mainly when you do certain tricks at certain stages of the spring life. If you need a quicker responsiveness at the beginning of the bottom of the bounce you will prefer it over on that takes a few miliseconds for the spring to respond. Both types are good but its about someone's style of jumping and personal preference. You can read more about springs on my springs page. I am getting a lot of calls from people asking for advice before reading what I wrote. I am happy to go over the differences but please, read my site first. Here is the link to my spring page.

The foot plate is held by a 145 degree arc that is not strait but tubular which prolongs the spring life by its design. The arc is also lighter weight and require as much mass as the weight is distributed differently than a straight bar. Its bindings are not made of plastic but high end snow board bindings. Those who are rough with their stilts will appreciate this.

Their feet seem to be the ones that I rarely get calls about. The rubber that they use for their feet seem to hold up longer but I am only going by what customers say that have these that I have talked to.

If you need help choosing a brand of stilts, please take my stilt quiz. I understand that it is confusing when picking out your first pair because everyone is saying something different. After you take your quiz, if I need to ask more questions I will. I will pick out your pair as if I were picking out my own. I rarely get a return because the way I work.
